The maximum gross weight of vehicles
ColliCare responsibly holds the valid laws relating to the gross weight of vehicles.
We are ruled by the laws given by the Lithuania's Communication Minister (2002, February 18th, Order No. 3-66) regarding the maximum gross weight of vehicles.
Road train trailers
Biaxial - 18 t;
Triaxial - 24 t;
Combined Vehicles
Five-axle or six-axle road train, consisting
a) a biaxial vehicle, hinged with a triaxial trailer - 40 t;
b) a triaxial vehicle, hinged with a biaxial or triaxial trailer - 40 t;
Five-axle or six-axle articulated vehicles, consisting of
a) a biaxial road tractor with a triaxial semi-trailer - 40 t;
b) a triaxial road tractor with a biaxial or a triaxial semi-trailer - 40 t;
c) a triaxial road tractor with a biaxial or a triaxial semi-trailer used for a composite transport of 40 feet containers (manufactured in accordance with ISO);
Four-axle raod train, consisting a biaxial vehicle and a biaxial semi-trailer - 36 t
Four-axle articulated vehicles, consisting a biaxial road tractor and a biaxial semi-trailer
When the distance between the semi-trailer's axles is from 1,30 to 1,80 m - 36 t;
When the distance between the semi-trailer's axles is larger than 1,80 m and a double-axled semi-trailer, whose maximum gross weight is 20 t, whereas the vehicles - 18 t, whose driven axle's wheels are paired and air suspended - 38 t.
